Keith Palmer - Email - Website

Seeing the original Star Wars re-release in 1981 (if he's figuring it correctly) left a deep impression on Keith. While he does still regret missing altogether asking to go see Return of the Jedi in 1983, the interest of those first years has never left. He's even managed to figure out why he's stayed that way: working out little by little that not only was he attracted to the saga-spanning story of the main characters, but that this unifies the six movies into one whole, was the key. A firm believer in cultivating multiple obsessions, Keith also tries to keep up on science, history, written science fiction, comics of various kinds and animation including large quantities of anime, antique computer games, and the cheesy movies of "Mystery Science Theater 3000." Star Wars holds an honoured place among all of them, though.

Lady Aeryn - Email - LiveJournal

Formerly known as Alderaan21 and briefly as Queen Naberrie, LA lives in Oklahoma and is a sometime college student and full-time procrastinator.  Born in '83, LA has no memory of a time she didn't know or love Star Wars, though her obsession wasn't fully realized until her dad brought home the box set of the Special Editions in 1997. Her favorite character by far is Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader, though she loves the whole Skywalker clan.  (When choosing a favorite film, she's harder pressed -- she loves all of 'em.)  Since October 1999 she has run a website focusing on the Padmé/Anakin relationship (The Moons of Iego), and -- very occasionally -- makes the foray into fan fiction.  Aeryn also enjoys Harry Potter (where she also wastes quite a bit of time in online fandom), Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel, Farscape, Veronica Mars, Star Trek, and The Office, but has always considered Star Wars her "home" fandom.

ami-padme - Email - Website - Forums

ami-padme has been a Star Wars fan all of her life in some form or fashion. Seeing Return of the Jedi in a drive-in at the age of 4 was a landmark moment for her as a kid-fan, catching the Special Editions in 1997 was a watershed moment that made her an adult fan, and the lead up to and release of The Phantom Menace created the obsessed fangirl she is today.  Her favorite character is Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader (as you can see from her website). She loves all the Skywalkers, and is the writer of multiple fics about her favorite couple (Anakin/Padmé) and family. Jedi is her favorite of the movies, but she truly loves them all as one saga. Aside from her love for the story and particularly for the Skywalkers, ami-padme's interest in politics, government, history, and literature colors the way she approaches the films and the fandom. She dabbles in other fandoms, but Star Wars has always had her heart.
lazypadawan - Email - LiveJournal - Website

lazypadawan, also known as MissPadme on some sites, has been a Star  Wars fan since her first viewing of A New Hope in June 1977 at one of the first 32 theaters nationwide showing the film.  It's been a long, strange trip ever since.  Over the years, she has produced two Star Wars fanzines, "Blue Harvest" and "Snowfire," written piles of fan fiction, written piles of editorials and essays, volunteered at the original Magic of Myth exhibit in  Washington, D.C., worn costumes, marched in a parade while in costume, traveled to conventions, and acquired a startling amount of Star Wars collectibles.  She has a great amount of affection for the GFFA and its denizens.  She is a proud Anakin/Padmé and Han/Leia shipper, reads nearly all of the books and comics, and finds nothing too obscure to ponder about her favorite saga.  Today she has a humble little website and a humble  little LiveJournal.  Other fandoms?  Like there's time!  In real life, lazypadawan resides in Southern California.  She likes travel, reading, writing, history, politics, movies, t.v., and the paranormal.  She has an undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a law degree from Catholic University of America.
Sgmsky - Email

sgmsky was born in Lisbon in the year of 1979 (a good harvest, that year). She is an engineer in Animal Production and loves life itself, specially if good people, nature and cinema are in the surroundings. When she was about eight, home alone, she ran into two video tapes left by her big brother in the living room: Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back.  When her brother came home she persuaded him to go out and rent the last episode of the trilogy. Since then, Vader added one more fan to his list. The possibility of knowing the past of this beloved character, proving to the world his true nature, was a dream that came true. sgmsky is addicted to cinema (Hannibal, Braveheart or Moulin Rouge are just a sample of her favorites), devouring movies whenever she can.

Reihla - Email  -  LiveJournal

Outside of Star Wars fandom, Reihla is a graduate of Oklahoma State University (Animal Biotechnology 1991).  Like many college graduates, her current job has nothing to do with her academic pursuits.  She now works at her state law library handling serials and interlibrary loans.  She is a long-time member of the Society for Creative Anachronism and spends her time in that organization recreating medieval combat, calligraphy & illumination, middle eastern drumming and coronet making.  Outside the current middle ages, she  enjoys laser tag, computer games, writing and art.  She and her husband of 9 years share their home with two felines.
FernWithy - Email - LiveJournal - Website

FernWithy was a 1977 Star Wars fan, whose goals throughout childhood were to have hair long enough to wear like Princess Leia and to learn to use a lightsaber.  Failing in both quests, she settled for being a writer and a young adults librarian, with an academic background in comparative religion and mythology.

Matril - Email

Matril has been a Star Wars fan since early childhood, when she played Princess Leia to her older sister's Luke Skywalker.  Her fandom seldom ebbed over the years, and during her freshman year at college she discovered the addictive quality of fan websites and fan fiction (under the username Cindé of Naboo).  Somehow she also managed to graduate from college with a major in English and a minor in German.  She also met and married her husband, a fellow Star Wars fan. (When she showed up at Halloween party in a handmaiden costume and saw him dressed as Darth Maul, she knew it was love.) Now she uses her skills to work on an original fantasy series that she may submit for publication sometime in the next decade, and to take care of her two children, Luke and Emma.

Sarah - Email - LiveJournal - Website

Sarah lives in England, is sixteen years old and attends high school.  She has twenty-five percent of a life and appears to spend most of her time in the local Cineworld, when she isn't going shopping for lots of  pointless and geeky stuff to fill her bedroom with.  She's also at CollectorMania in Milton Keynes every time it's on.  She was introduced to Star Wars in 1999, in the summer while surrounded by The Phantom Menace hype, but only found the fandom after Attack of the Clones.  She gets a new fandom every few months, or so it appears, but Star Wars is likely the biggest.
